Workout
ride n' run
45 min ride w/ James, Mario was not there....sad face...
James is kind of nuts, even the woman in her late 60's said..."what is this music...bring the GaGa"
James is a sweet older gent, but his music taste is a little wack and he is like a not as good version of Ken...I did get sweaty, but I was so not feeling it...
Feat Accompli!
like squat
did 100 squats 5 X 20 while folding laundry....I don't really think squats are that big of a deal, maybe it's because I'm used to working my quads and tush....anyone think they aren't all that horrible- like 100 push ups I feel it like woah...
I'm kind of digging this squatting break thing- I'm going to do it a lot- people are so making fun of me in advance.

Workout
mega lame
i realized my body was all kinds of restlessness from not doing cardio in a few days while I was sick. I wanted to try to make it thru a spin class today with an extra inhalor puff. Agony- I got there and Derek's class was fill. So lame! I was not motivated to motivated, so I very wimpily reintroduced cardio into my lungs.
10 mins bike
10 mins stair mill
10 mins rowing
naked gym?
no workout, FOUR LOADS OF LAUNDRY. Would have been nice to workout- but nope, not even reject workout clothes were left. Would get kicked out of crunch from naked time, so I did laundry- then went to rehearsal for a short physical theatre piece using mask. Woo Hoo masks! We did a lot of planning and only a little moving. Not counting it.
Workout
the unworkout
So...being plagued and all I slept super late and didn't feel like going to Restorative Yoga Workshop at Yoga Vida. I was nervous that while lieing on bolsters I have a cough fit or just plain want to blow my nose all day. I figured that the constructive rest might do me good and open up my lungs. After I had a big ole salad at Yaffa and prob walked about two hours with Llaves.
Workout
so close to staying healthy ALL winter.
With just two weeks of winter left I finally got sick. I'm super proud that I have not been six since late April, and this a RECORD by FAR. So I'm conivnced that my immune systeme is stronger than ever and that I'll kick this very soon.
Place:
Yoga Vida NYC
Workout
felt like dorm yoga w/ a dude
Yoga to the People Hot Vinyasa was like having the hockey player next to you sophmore year convince you to go into the common room of the dorm, next the the bathroom (while heat is soaking in from the showers) and practice yoga.
Place:
Yoga to the People
Workout
big reach!
Started with a 45 min ride w/ Mario- I was super digging his play list. I didn't have my HR monitor today (or yesterday at RTZ) sort of like taking a break from HR monitoring every now and then. I think it's important to let yourself just workout with out self judgments every now and then.
Warmed up the arms w/ a 7 min row
Moved on to upper and ab work:

Crunch - Union Square

the mechanical bull of bikes
I think that the Real Ryders at Ride the Zone are very much like the mechanical bull at Mason Dixon. You have to hold on tight, but you need to go with the ride and not fight it. Go with the motion. Damn, Kaitlyn is probably an amazing mechanical bull rider.

Why it pays to be generous with chocolate
I shared some indiv wrapped dark chocolate with one of my fave yoga instructors last night....today she didn't swipe my card and I got a free class as a thank you.
Three little godiva pieces go a long way for karma : )
Took a flow class- it was what I needed. I was having a very gemini day- I kept bouncing back and forth - kind of odd.
Workout
Treating myself to a Training and then making love to Yoga Vida
So, killercadoogan woo'ed me into signing up to train with Jenny from the Block. I did want to do something to celebrate the brand new free membership at crunch- but I know that I can't actually afford a trainer. I could afford one session though! So to celebrate, I treated myself to one session. Jen is wildly expensive - and I adore her- but not worth eating ramen every night.
Workout
four pound prize
So for those of you who know me well, I'm not really into weighing myself. I think it only causes problems. As a college student I was very focused on the scale- I went to the DR about two years ago and realized I had gained a lot of weight and thought it was from hard core partying in the city. Now, I've been exercising like bandit.
