The Gratitude Challenge: Today I'm grateful for an entire month of sunrises. Beautiful and bright, full of promise and possibility - is there anything better than a sunrise and the gift of a new day? That being said, I'm planning to sleep in tomorrow morning, and I'm so looking forward to it. :D

The Gratitude Challenge: Today I'm grateful for the sunlight on my skin and the wind in my hair. I love to be outside and just be - it feels so amazing. No cell phones, no traffic, no chaos - just me and the sun and wind. :D

The Gratitude Challenge: Today I'm grateful for the little touches of nature among the urban sprawl. The birds in the trees, the lizards that sunbathe on the walls, the bunnies that hop out from the bushes at twilight to nibble on some grass - I love them all. <3

The Gratitude Challenge: Today I'm appreciative of the Joe Manganiello Picture on my cell phone homescreen. It may sound shallow, but everytime I look at it, it gives me a little lift and I start smiling. Hellooooo Joe!

The Gratitude Challenge: Today I'm thankful for a clean, warm bed and a favorite book on my iPad to read. Enjoying the Sookie Stackhouse series all over again before the new book comes out! :)

The Gratitude Challenge: Today I'm grateful for a fantastic handyman, and a garbage disposal that's fixed. Mike is so awesome!

The Gratitude Challenge: Today I'm grateful for home cooked meals in the crockpot. Is there anything better than coming home and having the smell of dinner greet you at the door? :D

The Gratitude Challenge: Today, I'm appreciative of the lady who let us over into her lane on the freeway so that we could make our exit. So often, people want others to show them courtesy on the road, but they seem unwilling to reciprocate. It was nice to see someone thinking of others. I smiled and waved to say "Thank you" to her. :)

The Gratitude Challenge: Today I'm thankful for the new Taylor Swift song/video from The Hunger Games soundtrack. Girls in white dresses wandering through the woods, hauntingly beautiful music, and firelit log cabins - what's not to love?

Sunrise in San Diego - 6:30 am (Set that alarm clock for a quarter after six am, and by George, I got up without hitting snooze! I consoled myself with the thought of my reward for completing the challenge - one morning of sleeping in, followed by a bowl of Fruity Pebbles cereal with some whole milk whenever I stumble out of bed. :) Oh yeah, I got a date with the sugary cereal. )
The Gratitude Challenge: Today I'm happy for waking up with my kitty on the pillow next to me. He's such a little lovemuffin of lately. <3
I wanted to say thank you for your comment on my February 9th sleep challenge entry and wish you luck on your Social Workout challenges! I think your English is fantastic; I'm currently studying French at school and I hope mine will be as good one day as your English is! Best wishes, Jennifer :)

The Gratitude Challenge: Today I'm thankful for yoga, and the way my body feels like a child at play after I do it - so loose, so free, so young! :D
Well, my yoga challenge is done, and I can't tell you how different I feel! My body feels six years old again - that carefree, limber, easy feeling of childhood is recaptured after I practice. I'm hooked, and I never want to stop! As a reward, I picked up a copy of B.K.S. Iyengar's "Light on Yoga" to further deepen my understanding and knowledge of yoga. It's been a fun month, not always easy, but worth the work.
