Fun day with family and friends. I finished all of my outdoor chores in the morning and the house is now ready for the winter.
I really had a positive day with all of my interactions. This has been a wonderful two weeks.
Beautiful day today. The sun was out and it made it into the 50s. The last snow finally melted from our mid-week snowstorm.
The exercise part of this challenge has been fantastic. I completed an Ironman in 2005 and honestly after that I was total burnt out on training or exercising regularly. Now that I am 12 days in I realize what a huge emotional lift it gives me.
I have realized thru the happyness challenge that I really don't have large emotional swings. I truely enjoy my life and rarely do I see the dark side creeping in.
I have been so blessed to have a wonderful wife and funny loving son. My family makes the little dumps in the road seems so unimportant.
I am noticed during this challenge that I have issues right after lunch. It seems like I spin my wheels and get little done. Today I tried to do things a little differently. I kept a lot of my mindless work for after lunch. I did get more done today.
I am very grateful for beautiful music. After dinner my wife turned on our i-pod and we listened while doing the dishes. It made the time more enjoyable.
Nov 9th and we get 4 inches of snow in Wisconsin. It will be gone by the weekend but it was a miserable day to be outside.
The horrible weather made me very grateful for the beautiful, warm home my wife and I own.
Rainy day in the Midwest. I was still able to stay positive and focus on things I could control. I had numerous laugh out loud moments at work today that really lightened up the day.
