A quick note on this fine Friday (TGIF), for the past 12 days I have dug deeper into my quest for more nutrition knowledge. At our Crossfit certification, they showed us this pyramid, which opened my eyes like never before.
Without the proper nutrition and fuel for your body EVERY SINGLE DAY, you cannot progress and essentially be your best at any of the above activities. Our diet is the base of our fitness life….so that begs the question, is your base sturdy?

Boyfriend and I went to the movies together and saw The Muppet Movie. Completely spaced out minds that they sing…a LOT.
Without him, I hit Crossfit to do some foam rolling and mobility work/stretching (http://www.mobilitywod.com/) followed by a little rowing, AKA my current favorite cardio exercise.

Was under the weather and came home from work early, only to find my boyfriend at my house with a cup of tea and the scrabble board out for us to play. Aw, swoon, so corny!
In the evening, I coached my first two Crossfit classes by myself. YES, I said I'm OFFICIALLY A CROSSFIT LEVEL 1 COACH!

Fired up my XBOX and tried out the new Your Shape 2012 video game, which was awesome. I did "Yoga Zen" for a little stretch to wake up my day.

Bikram Yoga + a new class I tried called, "The Exotic You". Oh yeah….it's basically taught by a former stripper, and it was actually pretty darn cool. We wore the clear heels and everything. Supported my boyfriend while he was DJing a gig later that evening and ended up riding the mechanical bull. That 8 seconds counts for something!
