We had planned to blow off the regularly scheduled workout but when the day came, we just had to run. The gym was closed but we didn't even take that as a sign. We went to another gym!
I got all my steps at the mall pretty much. It's kind of cool that I don't mind traipsing all over the mall when I'm buying a size 10 dress, but when I was a size 18 I preferred to conserve my energy.
It was my rest day, and I thought I'd get my steps at the mall, but I really, really rested.
Whoa. Ten hours of sleep. Incroyable! I ran a pretty fast (for me) 5K on the treadmill, too.
I walked around the block twice, which is not a workout (I wore flip flops) but you know, I didn't NOT do it.
I got almost 9 hours of sleep! Three beautiful meals (but I did go to the Ritz for scones and tea with my girlfriends).
I got almost 8 hours of sleep, thank you! I hate Special K for breakfast and my new favourite, guac and roast beef ww wrap for lunch and my dear husband BBQed chicken and portabello mushrooms and roasted vegetables for a small dinner party we had, and served yogurt and strawberries for dessert. I got a 5K in there, too! I didn't take my lunch break at work, but I left frigging work 2 hours early, so I am counting that as an extra "stretch break."
I had to skip my workout because I was too exhausted. I weight 2 pounds less than I did 24 hours ago. (This will go back on, as tomorrow is weigh-in day and it's all water weight anyway). I did get enough sleep, alhamdulillah. I ate Cherios for breakfast and a gorgeous wrap for lunch with guac, roast beef and a handful of leftover salad in it. Dave bbqed chicken burgers for dinner. It was a pretty good day, even though there was no workout.
Again, I did have a little nap, so does this count as sleep?
