I inquired about the local improv group. It's a high risk, but not because I'm scared of doing improv or getting on stage. I love being on stage. However, my husband believes that when a spouse gets involved in music or the arts, it means they are unhappy with their marriage. And he has a lot of evidence to prove that! We know of many marriages that have split within a year of someone moving into the arts.

I'm very happy with my marriage, and this is no reflection on him! I've always held myself back from the theater, because I had "more important" things to do. But my heart soars and my soul sings when I'm onstage. It is important! VITALLY IMPORTANT.
