Happy Mother's Day, everyone!
Day 5 : becoming a good yogi! I got up 5: 30, stretched gently in the bed, then opened the curtains to see the sun. I made today's intention . I did 3 sun saltations. I cleansed myself accordingly . I felt good.
Day4 of my yogi experiment : I got up early, and in the bed stretched my body gently, then slowly opened my eyes to adjust them to the light gently, which is a suggestion of a yoga site. It's good!
Today's my yogi experiment ; I googled about yogi daily schedule, and I found out that a yogi cleans his/her tongue, and he/she does oil massage before shower every morning as daily cleansing . I used a toothbrush to cleanse my tongue. I used almond oil for massage. Oh, the massage was wonderful!
"Cold shower " was mentioned in the article , but it's too much for me :)
I had entire vegitalian day yesterday. Usually I eat breakfast surfing web or checking emails, but this morning I thought, if I were a seasoned yogi, I would eat breakfast without doing such things. I just tryed to concentrate to eat breakfast. It's like meditating . My mind was chatting during breakfst, and I had to tell myself to concentrate! It's an interesting experience :)
I subscribe Everything Yoga newsletter. In the latest one she said, "do what a yogi would do." I think it's a variation of "do what Jesus Would do." I've never thought about yogi one! I thought it's a good idea, and i decided to do it as much as I can for one week! So far so good!
I did Deadlift as a part of Bootcamp workout. At first I tried 95 pounds, but I couldn't lift. So I did 85. Next time I'll try 90!
