The 5K on Saturday was INTENSE...I was motivated by my friend to NOT WALK at all (even though that's how I trainined) and I finished in 34 min!!!

took my first mui thai class yesterday...whoa! Now I know what a burpee is...wow...they are hard! we had 30min of cardio/core work then 30 min of punches, kicks...my body is sore!

If it makes you feel better, burpees are hard for everyone, at every level. They are plain exhausting. Great work, and rest your muscles!

Thanks von Hottie! I will...did a mild walk today and 20 min of yoga this morning...I think I'll skip the run today and try tomorrow.

Burpees are terrible. I hate doing them. Take a hot bath and relax :) you deserve it.

Hi Gina, I am not sure but I think Sonia is back, yea!
I am doing fine but have no real balance with certain Yoga practices still working on that one....as to that running or power walk have moved inside on my treadmill and I think of you every time I try to run then slow it up by making the incline higher...my legs are getting stronger but I still am not running; however, I do have a very long stride in my walk; what that means I will never know, lol ;-) Hope all is going well for you and your 5K exercises.

It definitely takes time Liz, so hang in there! I'm doing ok...I'm still not running consistantly, but I am trying to stick with it. I've got 2 more weeks! Building endurance is what it's all about, so keep trying and you will eventually get stronger.
