Last workout before a huge marketing conference that's tomorrow through next Wednesday! I'm just assuming the worst and figuring there won't be free time to have proper workouts. Moan.
Goodness gracious, Joanna's abs class on Thursdays are fantastic.
Calf lifts.... GROAN!
Went over to a friend's place at Columbus Circle for homemade brunch, so I walked to and from the festivity - around 4.8 miles.
Oh, boxing boot camp, how I love thee. Today, the surprise exercise was "jump so your knees touch your outstretched hands and land and touch the ground and repeat very very quickly" and I almost had a heart attack.
Also lugged around laundry, got groceries, visited a wine store, and continuously forgot things from the apartment (sunglasses, phone) during these trips, which totally racked up flights of stairs.
Started out with my usual cardio, and as I wrapped that session up, my mind wandered to the cheeseburger (like 7 inches in diameter) and fries I inhaled at lunch... and hopped over to the erg machine. It was the best rowing session I've had since I started back on it, with 5 sprints without dying!
Then I staggered off and finished up with abs. And then dragged my feet home. Up more flights of stairs.
Happy hour and dinner plans tonight, so another morning workout... I laugh about this with Christine - airing out the gym bag and drenched clothes at my cubicle. Totally necessary.
Literally every elliptical + treadmill was taken this evening - goodness gracious. Great time for a row, then! Followed that with ab work and three chunks of pushups.
