I had a fabulous day at the gym! I ran 3.5 miles in 33:57, went to zumba, and then to pilates. Running and zumba definitely wore me out, and I wasn't sure how pilates was going to go, but it actually was not bad at all!! I really enjoyed my gym time tonight!!
Today I went to Zumba for 60, elliptical for 12 minutes (between classes), and then Yoga for 60 minutes. Zumba and Yoga were both excellent workouts today. Both instructors pushed us (which they always do, but it seemed more today) since it was after Thanksgiving! I was going to run in between but I didn't have enough time. I figured the elliptical was good enough. I'm really starting to like it because I could read my book at the same time, but I would prefer to run!
I did the elliptical for 32 minutes today. I would have preferred to run, but my knee has been hurting (I think I need new shoes!) so I decided the elliptical would do!
Ran for 30 minutes and lifted weights/stretched 10 minutes
11/2/10 workout:
I went to the gym and ran 3 miles in 30 minutes and then took a Buttz and Guttz class...hopefully I'll be able to walk tomorrow!!
10/31/10 workout
I went to Zumba for 60 minutes then came home to do a lot of cleaning and work for work.
After work today I definitely needed some yoga!!!!! I felt sooooooooooooooooo much better after I left the gym, it was unbelievable!!! After yoga I went birthday shopping for my boyfriend and a friend! Followed by getting ice-cream with a friend. Even though today was beyond stressful, the evening was fabulous!!
Update for yesterday- 10/27/09
I went to the gym for a Total Body Conditioning/ Muscles class, but decided to run before hand. I only had 20 minutes before class so I ran for 20 minutes (2 miles) and then took the class. The class was awesome, but totally kicked me in the butt! I could definitely tell I haven't been to the class in a few weeks. I must start making an effort to make it to class on Wednesdays, but it's just so hard sometimes.
Today I went for a run outside since it was nearly 70 degrees! I was thrilled to have almost summer like weather back!! The run was fantastic and I felt like I could have continued longer, but it was starting to get dark and I didn't want to be running in gray shorts and a t-shirt in the dark! I ended up running for 45 minutes which shocked me since it has almost been a week since I last ran. After I came home from the run I decided to do 20 minutes of yoga. I have not done yoga in almost 2 weeks and I didn't realize how much I missed it until I was doing it! Typically I have a hard time doing it at home, but not today! I
