I had to get up before sunrise this morning (March 1) too, on account of an early morning rehearsal. Lo and behold, I woke up before my alarm feeling mildly excited about getting up and at 'em and having time to do things before leaving the house. This is a stunning development. I guess Dawn Patrol paid off after all.
This morning's light and sounds outside had a very strong element of spring about them. And now I'm listening to pre-season baseball. Pretty soon I'll stop wishing that winter had been more ... wintery. And as soon as that happens, we'll get a giant dump of snow, I'm sure.
