Finishing my day with walking 6 miles! Just over 14,600 steps. Thoroughly enjoyed the auction with my husband and didn't even spend $50, as the weather was 55 degrees and was nice to be outside for a few hours walking about and getting a few good deals! Loving all the afghans, the crockpot, pond decor, huge box of yarns for crocheting, a beautiful decor lamp, turkey platters, casserole dishes, custard dishes, dish towels, table cloths, jewerly box, and so much more. It's amazing of all the nice things you can get at an auction, and have many uses for it! Thoroughly enjoyed this challenge too and am surprised this is the final day of this one! Looking forward to the next one!

I'm up to 6000 steps and got in 30 minutes of cardio in so far. Just had some lunch. Got more walking to do before heading out to an auction! Talked with my son and the dogs a little bit this morning, and my husband will be with me all afternoon. Enjoyed a walk with the dogs outside too. Can't believe how springlike it is right now, at 52 degrees here in PA! SOoooooo nice! Sending it to you Sherri!

Walked a few hours this afternoon. I am to 6 miles, over 14,000 steps again.
Yeh!
I also watched a movie with my husband for 1-1/2 hours today. I walked the rest of the afternoon after he left the room. He went to the living room and fell asleep! So sad that he can't walk with me! He needs to lose a good 50# too, and strongly disagree with him napping every afternoon! He needs to get on board too, here!

Played my piano for 30 minutes and finished my song after tweaking a few notes on the page. I am ready to sing it in church on Sunday. It is called, "I Will Delight in the God of Miracles". Maybe someday everyone will hear it on the radio? Enjoyed a few minutes in the spa and did some exercises too. Planning to spend the rest of the day with cardio and walking lots. I walked 6.5 miles yesterday! Down 2# this week. Excited and praying that the cardio is the reason. I'm putting in the work! Thanks for the encouragment Sherri. No matter the weather, we have no excuse to workout, and I'm sticking with it!

Spent time with my husband this afternoon. Also, did some cardio and walked carrying hand-held weights of 5# each hand, and did lifts and reaches with it while walking for 30 minutes. I then walked it out for 1.5 hours and now have in over 10,200 steps! Did some stretching too to loosen up.

Tried a 2-minute obstacle course that I posted on the 25-lb-club discussion group. One minute did not give me enough time to complete the challenge, but two minutes did. Maybe someone would like to give it a go. It is only two minutes of your time. I did my stretching and then did some water exercises in my spa this morning. I am working on my writing music for a little bit this morning, then I will be doing cardio and walking during the afternoon.
There's nothing like getting the heart rate up with an obstacle course of your own.

Played a game of Super Scrabble with my college son Jason, and my husband, and we all came within 41 points of each other with scores from 440 to 481. I had 465! My son beat us, but he used his cell phone to figure out words that isn't in my vocabulary. I did it on my own. We had some super words, and I couldn't even put all my tiles down to spell "perverse" thanks to my husband who layed down a simple three letter word in my spot. But was fun! I also got in over 5 miles of walking in today.

spent some time playing my piano and working on my song music. Also walked outside and inside too, and did some cardio. I'm just over 10,000 steps at the moment. Planning to walk some more today too. Discouraged, yet hanging in there. Mood is so-so. Kind of drizzling rain outside now and then. It's amazing how weather can affect your mood!

Had big family gathering today and my brother turned 50. What a crew it was with family and some friends of about 40 people. It was a long afternoon. Played the new baby grand piano at the nursing home and was such a treat for me. I could just live there! So beautiful with new open rooms, fireplaces, sitting rooms, the piano, fish tanks, waterfalls, and so much more. Lots of walking halls and just a pleasant place to visit. I plan to do some steps tonite. Up to 5000 steps so far.
