Once again the mosquito has messed with me. This time a lot worse. I was in bed early so I could get my 7 hours of sleep. I was awoken by a tingling feeling on my lip. Turns out a mosquito bit me on my lip and the entire right side of my face blew up. Really scary experience. Nothing I tried was helping to bring the swelling down. I had to miss class this morning, my PT session, and Buff Yoga. Instead spent my morning at the doctors office, learning that I had an allergic reaction and getting a prescription for some really strong stuff that will make me really sleepy.
(I would put up a picture, but I don't think you want to see it. My face looks kind of nasty right now. And, I did get my 7 hours of sleep, just not the hours I originally intended.)

Some days I think I work out too much. Today might be one of those. I couldn't make it up the stairs when I got home. I was up at 6am, had a class until 9am. Yoga with Jess at 10. I was having a really hard time doing anything today. My hips were really tight it hurt to do everything. Also, he spent a lot of time on inversions today. As hard as I try I can't get my legs up. Nobody else in class has issues with that. Even the girl who said she was new to yoga. Jess said its mostly fear and that one day after class he'll work on headstands with me. After that I took S.T.A.R. Treatment with Marc. It was my first time in the spin room at Lafayette. That room is huge! The class is Spin, Toning, Abs, and Relaxation (i think thats what the 'R' stands for). It's only 25 minutes of spin, but it felt like a full-length class. Toning was ok, except I thought I could do it with 7.5lb weights, but had to use 5lbs because my shoulders were already feeling sore from yoga. Abs were tough, but I was expecting that because Marc's ab workouts are always tough. And then we stretched. I am done for the day.
Oh, I also ran a little over a mile before yoga.

So, I have a class that finishes at 12:30. The Ride at Union Square is at 1:15. School is about a 15 minute walk from the gym. I could totally make it in time. But I usually stay a few minutes after class because I always have questions, and I guess Tomas became really popular because now you need a wristband to take his class. Luckily today we were let out 15 minutes early, so I made it to the gym in time. Class was good. It was my only workout today. I am still sore from all my workouts in the past week.
Oliver, I really wanted to come to Masala Bhangra tonight, but practically it didn't make sense. I don't get out of class until 7:15pm, I had to stop into a bday party, get home, study for a big test tomorrow, and be in bed by 11pm. Next time.

Lots of meditating today. I'm also counting the minutes I walked to and from the synagogue because this year my parents chose the one farthest from our house and when you're fasting, it's not fun to walk.

Took TRX this morning. Rachel was subbing for Marc. It was ok. I'll probably be sore tomorrow.

So, long day. But I slept my 7 hours so I wasn't nearly as tired as I was yesterday. Went to Crunch Union Square for Vinyasa with Jess. He was doing a lot of holding poses today and I am horrible at balancing...I had to leave the class a little early because it ends at 5:30 and I have class at Baruch at 6. Just my luck-it started drizzling when I left the gym. As I'm walking it starts HAILING-like huge hail balls. It was painful. Then it gets really windy and starts pouring. And I had no choice but to walk through it because I didn't want to be late to class. I sat through an 1.5 hr lecture, drenched. Not fun.
I took the stairs to all my classes today. A total of 14 flights of stairs.
