Actually did 4.5 miles of speedwork in running class. .5 mile repeats up a giant hill in the crazy heat. So tough but so good. Followed up with eggs on toast with hummus and sun-dried tomatoes. Delicious.

Started the day off with a 3 mile run -- 26:32. Getting faster!
10 hours of sleep?! Who am I? I don't know how I slept this long on Saturday night, but a very healthy day followed, making up for the pizza and beer from the night before. 9 mile bike ride around Central Park and body weight strength training afterward. Good stuff.
Catch up post! Saturday: homemade pizza and beer for dinner. Not so healthy, but delicious. But I started the day by rolling out of bed and running 6 miles, so I felt pretty awesome about that! Fo sho.
Got up early this morning to run with my lady friends. 4 of us were out in the park at 6:30, running and chatting for 3 easy miles. This run made me very, very happy.
Gonna eat a third healthy meal tonight, but not counting it because I'm also going to have a healthy amount of beer. Friday.
Went biking last night with my wonderful friend Steff and my also wonderful boyfriend. We biked up to the George Washington Bridge and back, and it was gorgeous! It doesn't even feel like Manhattan up there. Amazing. Daniel and I covered 11 miles in all, and Steff biked a lot longer. Even though I almost got hit by a cab on the way home, good ride.
Did an at-home strength workout -- lunges with bicep curl, tricep extension, bicycle crunches, plank and walking plank, push ups. Short and sweet.
NYRR running class. 5 mile tempo run through the park. Very good workout, followed by lazy but healthy meal of egg on toast with spinach.
Super proud of myself for having a relatively healthy 4th. Started the day off with a fast 4 miles around Central Park. Went to brunch, where I had waffles, but then had a very healthy lunch and dinner at a picnic and rooftop gathering, respectively. Brought a beet and spinach salad to the picnic and indulged in homemade apple pie for dessert (way healthier and tastier than the other options, magic bars and store-bought cupcakes!).
Got back on track with the healthy eating last Sunday, but no workout because the killer storms made me lazy.
