Success! I went to the gym after work yesterday, and I spent 15 minutes on the elliptical and 15 minutes on the treadmill with NO knee pain! So exciting. I'm going to stick to short runs on the treadmill for a while until I feel a little more certain that my injury is healing, and then maybe I'll try out the roads again.
Followed up the gym with a yummy dinner at Angelika Kitchen -- so good and so healthy!

Tried to run for the first time since the marathon. Knee pain, bad, but I made it two miles. Better than nothing. Now nobody let me run again for at least a week.

Checked out a donation-based yoga studio near work called Do Yoga Do Pilates. The class was super good, and it was also really small -- like 8 people. It was a vinyasa class, but the teacher didn't stick to the typical sequence I've come to expect from most classes. She threw in lots of random stuff, which I loved. AND, I bound for the first time ever in extended side angle. I could only do it on one side, but still! I'm really happy with where my practice is going now that I can devote more time to it. Hooray.

Meditating is the hardest part for me. I forget to do it all day, and then if I try before bed, I fall asleep. I need to set aside time in the middle of the day or do it first thing in the morning. Anyone else having trouble breaking into this practice?
