tread walking and biking. boring but gets the job done.
6730 steps. working at home so I needed to get myself out of the house for some fresh air. walked the 'hood through the new falling snow/slush.
made it over 3000 steps, which was my goal for Tuesday.
one week post-op and feeling MUCH better. Went to the gym for an easy workout and to weigh myself on the fancy scale. thisclose to my pre-baby weight (the baby is 9.5 years old). I can't do any impact cardio or anything that would strain my core so I sat on the old school stationary bike for 20 min. at low resistance and then did light weights for my arms, shoulders and lots o' squats. Next week I can start real cardio again, but it will be another 3-4 weeks before any ab work.
Went for my first walk yesterday. 10 blocks round trip to the library. Felt like 10 miles.
5:05 am. surgery done : ) drugs are good.
the man's phone woke me at 4am and pre-operative worries kept me awake until 6am. finally fell asleep and stayed in bed until 9:30.
Went for a yoga revive class in the afternoon. Thought it would be more like a yin class, holding poses, etc. But it was a lying around, doing nothing class which really annoyed me. First because I paid for lying around for one hour, which I can do at home for free, and second because I want/need a good stretch. live and learn.
A day of doing nothing but still walked 7500 steps
