Most people think it's easier to exercise on the weekends, for me it's the opposite. I really have to make an effort to squeeze in the exercise between all the family and house chores. At least when the kid is at school and I go to work I know that I have one hour free every day for "lunch" which for me is exercise time. Too bad the man isn't more healpful :(

went for a run in the park while the kid was at taekwondo. perfect win-win, we both get to exercise and I don't waste time sitting on a hard bench while he's in class. I should of thought about this 2 weeks ago. Did walking lunges in the hallway outside his class and 2 minutes of wall-sitting. Finished football workout at home. cursed once at the frigging blue-ray player... technology sucks sometimes.

working at home so I get to go to the gym without being in a rush. run/walk on the treadmill. Not fast but I ran for 25 min. without stopping. I'm feeling the football workout in my butt and I like it!

morning workout at the gym. 1 hour aero-step class. It was fun to take a class. followed by the football workout. Personal project for this week: painting the metal work on our front balcony.

This challenge is easier for me than last weeks. Did a 35 min. aerobics video for my cardio. It was fun. I haven't taken any classes all summer. nice to change things up.

Today was a big challenge day for me. I went to a Yoga Mala class to celebrate the fall equinox. We did 108 sun salutations in 2 hours. It was intense but not as difficult as I thought it would be. During the process my hands were hurting the most but they feel OK now.
In the afternoon I did the football workout, minus the pushups, and went for a 1 mile run to the post office. Normally I do 30 pushups/minute, so with the yoga mala I'm counting it as 4 min. of pushup time.

Bixi-biked 10 min. to the gym then did 6 min. of the football workout to warmup before 30 min. (2.5 miles) on the tread. finished the rest of the football workout and some stretching. I counted my reps while watching the clock. pushups = 30/min., crunches = 60/min. I've been working at home this week, so lunch has been kind of hit or miss. today was a real lunch in my office (the living room).
