Training session with Kdoog! Except this time I played the trainer role. It was fun, but I'm still in that phase where I feel awkward just *watching* people work out, so I joined in for a few exercises too. Bear crawls, duck walks, squat jumps and pushups galore! :) Then I had to make up other exercises on the fly because he breezed through my 1hr plan in 35 minutes. Beast. =P Afterwards he gave me some trainer tips and a bit of suggested reading.
After that I went to go meet up with James at the gym for a little bit o' lifting and pullup work. He got there a half hour late. It was really awkward being the only girl there... Fun stuff. I wish this place had the barbells where you can adjust the weight, I'd be curious to know how much I can deadlift and these preweighted bars aren't cutting it for me. Any suggestions? (PS I don't have a real gym membership, I'm just using the Sheraton hotel's fitness center through a Groupon, and that expires very soon)

Back to PPW, this time for PilatesPro with Jenn, and it is basically a reformer class on crack. I LOVED it. And ended up getting a 5 pack. I'll be back!!

I tried my first class at Pilates ProWorks! I took BarreX which is a combination of Barre and TRX. Whoo weee. I'm not usually a fan of barre classes but I could get used to this!
Also the day of classes was sponsored by Gap, which meant free GapFit pants! (Thanks fatbottomslim for the Twitter announcement.)

Oh my. FlyBarre sport. What a tough class. I think I like this better than regular FlyBarre because the stronger focus on upper body work.

My first FlyBarre class! I snagged a spot in Kara Liotta's 8:15 class this morning. She is popular!! Seriously, I signed up as soon as the registration window opened on Sunday and the class was packed full with in 5 minutes! Hot damn.
She is so incredibly sweet, and almost instantly recognized me because I had tweeted that I was taking her class (side note: how is anyone that drop dead gorgeous??). That class kicked my booty. And I don't say booty that often. I was a bit skeptical going in because I've tried Physique 57 before and didn't like it too much, but this class was surprisingly fun and very challenging, and I didn't have to hear "pulse" as many times as I thought I would.
I'm already signed up to go back on Thursday!

Tighten & Tone during lunch again, followed by speed work in the evening with NBR. Holy crap, tough one. But I'm proud I actually completed the whole speed workout. Phew!

Fun session with Michelle in the morning, definitely some interesting combo moves (side straddling across the room while at the same time doing shoulder presses was super hard) and pushup variations. Fun stuff.
BKB in the evening and I took the climber core class as well. My poor abs.
