Quickie workout day! I didn't make the run group that I had planned on going to, but when I got home, I squeezed in a short, 2 mile run in the rain before dinner. My windbreaker was all soggy and I could barely see through my eyeglasses, but it felt amazing. And magically, my socks were still dry at the end of it.
20 minute gentle hatha YogaDownload session before bed. Oh pigeon pose, you feel amazing.
So this concludes my little Dragon Detox. Whooo.

30 Bikram classes. Done. Phew! AND my wrist is at about 75% recovered; I can do pullups again! But only a few at a time. But yay anyway!
Now that the 30 days is up, it's time to get back to my regularly scheduled programming. More running and rock climbing to come!

Back to TRX yesterday, but there were other folks in the class this time. Boo. I like my pseudo personal training sessions when I'm the only one that shows up for class. I'd forgotten my wrist brace but was able to get through a majority of the exercises pain-free. It's slowly healing...
Bikram class #28 last night (on day 29). Almost there.
Had 2 tea drinks from Argo, but only one of them was caffeinated. Gotta stick with the herbal goodness!

Another Bikram double... I really wanted to go after the half marathon on Saturday but my legs were just not up to it (literally).

Quick TRX session @ Nimble yesterday afternoon for lunch. Ami was out so Al Kavadlo (AlKavadlo.com) was subbing. First time w/ him (he took over Deveren's sessions and I've only been taking Ami's class since). Pretty cool guy, and luckily I was the only one (yay) so we modified the workout so that I my wrist wouldn't go crazy. I'll be back.
Quick 2 mile run at the gym and ended the night with Bikram. Sat in a very cool spot to the point where I was barely sweating during the lying-down poses and I felt like I kind of wasted the day. Boo.
Kind of amused at how so many of the challenges I'm doing are ending this week. Time to hunt for more =D

My first Bikram double! I was super nervous but I did it! I have officially gone through 20 classes on 20 days. 10 left to go. Except that tomorrow and Monday I'll be in Orlando for work so I need to do two more doubles when I get back. Yikes!
Oh, and I found a new spot in class where it doesn't feel like I'm burning in hell so today was much more relaxing and I was able to get through a lot more without feeling like I couldn't breathe. Yay! The last half hour in the second class even got sort of... meditative? I don't know, but time flew and I felt like I was in a trance. It was nice :)
Did a quick 2 mile on the treadmill in between BIkram classes just because I didn't want to run tomorrow's 15k without having used my legs at least once this week.
I'm sleepy.
