Today was the perfect way to end 2010. A great 3 hour ShaktiBlast practice with Julie Dohrman at South Mountain Yoga in NJ. Pinnacle pose was Mandalasana which was the perfect way to come full circle. I first saw and attempted this pose on Jan. 1st and was much more successful on Dec. 31st. What a difference a year can make.
I continued my day in Erin Stutland's SatiPati class. I completely connect with her class, her class has been the catalyst for some great things over the past few months.
My roommate and I are now sitting at home working on our visions for 2011. We are taking charge of this year because I was born to live my dreams, I just need to do my part to make that happen.
It has been a treat to celebrate this month with all of the SocialWorkout challengers. I appreciate that I was able to continue to practice yoga and take intenSati classes without letting the challenge take away from the intrinsic love that I have for both. I continue to relish in the journey of advancing my practices and the self discovery that comes as a result. Prior to beginning my yoga practice (16 months ago on Monday!) I would have been driven by the end result of 100%'s across the board; instead, I was able to love the opportunity to take 28 asana classes (with 1 home practice) and 15 intenSati classes.
Thanks to Oliver and Patricia for creating the challenges and to everyone else for taking part! Now, I can't wait to discover what 2011 has in store!
