• More/Fitness half marathon in Central Park. Got there 15 mins late. Train didn't stop there so I had to run a half mile to get to the start. It was rough. It was half marathon #3 within a 5 week period. So for once, I didn't care about how fast I could go. I took it easy, nice conversational pace. Definitely one of my slower races but at least this one I felt I could enjoy the weather or something. Didn't bother picking up the pace until the last 5k or so when I started playing a game of "who's the next person I'm going to pass?" and then a final sprint in the last 0.1 mile. Finished 2:31. I forgive myself... at least I showed up. I was really tempted to just turn around and go home when I got to Central Park in the morning. So there.

thefatbridesmaid m. 3 in 5 weeks?!?!!? You are incredible. Also, you don't need to "forgive" yourself. You ran a half. your third in 5 weeks. You should reward yourself and celebrate! 1 year ago
