• So. I had taken off quite a few days from working out. First the wedding photography weekend, and then when I came back, I had a back spasm the morning after and was left disabled for another few days. Yay. Not really.

    Back to the grind, starting with another session of Whittle Your Middle during lunch, this time with Vera teaching the class. Ouchies. I love Uplift Studios (formerlly Rogue Female Fitness or something like that). Y'all should check it out. Once you take a class there you pretty much get to use their equipment the rest of the day, so I knocked out some pullups while munching on complimentary trail mix (did I mention I love this place?).

    Also practiced working on thrusters for the first time, since I was suckered into signing up for the Civilian Military Combine in September, and thrusters are one of the judged strength events. No barbells, so I worked with the heaviest body bar they had, which was 36lbs. The one at the competition is supposed to be 45lbs I think. Yay?
