Personal Goals
After a year of cajoling, my best friend from grade school convinced me to sign up for the Tough Mudder. He was doing it with his younger brother, he said, and his younger brother's best friend. We'd be a tight team of four. In fact, they had already chosen a team name: "You Have Bled with Wallace, Now Bleed with Me." This is a reference to that last line of Braveheart.

How could I say no? SO, now the date is set: On Saturday May 12th, somewhere in the Poconos, I will be scaling walls and crawling under electrified barbed wire, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't a bit concerned. The morning yoga and Saturday Zumba might not quite be enough....

I haven't actually completed the "1000s" in a long time, never mind the sprinting and running. At the same time, these goals are all very do-able. I just hope they're enough.
