Moderation is everything. Try to only go on the sauce two days a week. You'll save money and empty calories, and feel infinitely better in the morning.
Lunchtime diesel for the last of the cardio of this sweet challenge. Thanks for setting this up, Jan25. Really helped me get through the month with some balance!
Made it to the 45-minute lunchtime yoga class. At first I felt a little guilty going for the shorter class, but as it turns out I love it. A nice series of the basic poses to make things feel good.
Meant to get outside for a nice bike ride, but it was raining, good for drought, bad for outdoor workout. Can't really complain.
Went to an alumni mixer where I didn't know anyone so had to have a glass of wine (but just one!). Made macarons after dinner so snacked on those. Maybe it was dessert. But I had snacks through the day at any rate.
Still feeling under the weather so had coffee mixed with hot chocolate when I got to work. Thought about going to yoga later...but it was raining. Blah. Used sake in my rice bowl recipe so had a small cup to drink with dinner. Nothing extravagent!
Now that it stays light later, went for a run after work. I felt great-- strong and like I was running really fast. BUT my app said I was actually running about a minute slower than normal! Oh well, at least I felt good. Maybe I can still make 100 miles in 100 days...Healthy dinner and I think allergies. Time to start the loratadine.
Felt really good to go for a run yesterday after no exercise in days. I probably could have made it to an even 5 but I was home and didn't feel like running around the block. Knee held up okay, even today!
I usually eat dinner pretty late-- 9 or later-- so I don't usually snack after dinner but last night Tom broke out some cookies while we caught up on Downton.
