You know how to do a lunge, now reverse it. Step back and drop your knee down. For extra credit, do a side twist with a weighted ball. Aim for 120 a day (60 per leg) and feel good.
working at home today and made myself a delicious salad for lunch which I brought to my "office" to eat. ran to the gym and home, 5 min. each way and did 30 min. on the treadmill with 20 min. of running. lots of reps for my sides but I find the reverse lunges don't feel nice in my lower back so I will have to skip those. I spend every day decluttering the kitchen so nothing else ever gets decluttered. Maybe I have to start eating out more so the kitchen doesn't get messy.
Finally, after 3-4 days of complaining (sorry folks), I'm feeling like my normal cranky self instead of super-crank. The stars were aligned this morning and everyone got to their appointed location on time and I got in my morning Bixi ride and lunch time run. 2.5 miles in 30 min. Not fast but it felt OK and the weather was perfect, partly sunny and cool. Did some pushups for von hottie and some bathroom lunges and leg lifts in the morning. Brought only an apple for lunch today so I don't think I can count that.
went for a super quick 6 min. run to the garage to pick up my car and did lots of reps at home. Those reverse lunges are tough, I kept losing my balance. Should not drink wine before exercising :)
Have to break down the reverse lunges into sets of ten. My knee can only handle so much at the moment. The rest of it is easy.
