too hot to run so I jumped on a Bixi (bikeshare) and went for a speedy 30 min. ride along the canal during lunch. felt my legs working hard and kept reminding myself to suck in my stomach while riding. did some pushups in the stairwell and that's it for today. definitely missing my other freelance gig with the onsite gym.

I think my workouts today made up for the last couple days of not working out. I really missed not being able to work out. I started out biking to Crunch Union Sq for yoga. As soon as that finished I had to run the few blocks to Crunch Lafayette for a session with Anthony. When I told Anthony that I wouldn't be able to meet at the regular time on Monday, we tried to find a time that would work. He suggested Wednesday and I said I take yoga with Jess on Wednesdays. So he had the wonderful idea of me coming right after yoga, because he said yoga is easy. He doesn't know Jess. I was shaking the whole time. The gym got this new TRX station, so that's where we spent most of the time. When the session was finished I had to bike uptown for an interview, then finally bike home. That's where my 253 minutes come from.

FINALLY back at hot yoga. Studio Breathe (my usual) was closed for 2 months!! due to new location/renovation delays. It was soooo good to take a class with Kimiko again. They are still under construction so no ventilation system except for open windows so it was extra super sweaty. Afterwards I felt like 2 months of toxins had come out of my body. Surprisingly nothing was sore when I woke up this morning.
pushups were done in the stairwell at work. also biked to and from yoga (about 10 min. each way).

Agghh. It's been one of those months where I attempt to exercise and literally don't even have time to turn on my computer for two weeks. So consider this my catch up for the whole month thus far. Not so impressive if you look at it that way, but let's see what kind of progress I can make in the next nine days. It's been a challenge on a mental/spiritual level this month...so we'll tackle one thing at a time. I do feel myself getting saggy, so it's time to really get back in the saddle. We all know missing meals to make up for missing workouts (even if it's by accident) is *not* the way to go!
