Today's morning stretch break featured guest star A.J. Nelson. A.J. is an elite triathlete, who qualified this year for both the World and National Championships. We caught him coming from his first Pilates class at Yogaworks Soho, and he was shocked...
"She crushed me!" he said. "I'm can ride a bike for five hours at 21 miles per hour, and I couldn't do half the exercises. She was laughing at me!"
Love that. A.J. had his mind blown, and can't wait to go back. He's hopeful that three Pilates classes a week, plus two yoga classes will make him more flexible and help ward off injuries. Of course, this means adding six more hours of exercise to his already packed workout schedule.
"How many hours do you work out each week?" asked von Hottie, while leaning gently on his muscular shoulder.
"Well, if you count the new stuff, I'm probably up to 26 hours a week."
Wow. OK, so we're not all elite triathletes, but if A.J. can manage 26 hours of exercise while holding down a real job, the rest of us can manage to eek out at least 4 or five hours, no?
