For my birthday, my parents sent me my second favorite kind of blueberry muffins. Saturday was a lovely day to be running errands, and an even lovelier day for Kaitlyn B.'s amazing Kentucky Derby party. The horse I bet on didn't even show, so I was out 5 bucks but up by a mint julep.

not so much regular exercising happening lately, but lots of gardening. Digging up plants and moving them around, hauling bags of soil, up and down the basement stairs for tools and toys for the kid. It's all good and more gratifying than the gym.
- kmcm s. I believe gardening is some of the original real exercise and somehow things have gotten turned around. What would people from the pre-escalator age think of stairclimbers and treadmills? What are we, nuts? 2 years ago

Really had to try for no bags today - it seemed like everywhere I went, they wanted to give me a plastic bag. Even for 1 bottle of spices!

Breakfast was farina, and I made breakfast for the rest of the week. Hopefully I'll also eat them :)
