Just a lot of catch up posts - la dee da!
Catchup: An evening at Uplift Studios. Back to back. full length classes. Wowee. First was Summer Shapeup, taught by Shannon, which focused on a lot of core work and exercises that work the same exercises from kayaking and standup paddleboarding. It was tough, and I LOVED it. Next was Uplifting, taught by Chelsea, which was more of a circuit workout. Tough night!
Catchup: Fencing class with a friend! It's been a while, oh how I've missed it.
Catchup: Back to back lunchtime classes at Uplift Studios - Whittle Your Middle, and Gams and Guns!
Catchup: Tried out the local Abhyasa Yoga Center in my neighborhood. I fell asleep in that class, so not counting it as a workout. James and I did go swimming though, so counting it!
Catchup: Cindy Lai Fitness kettlebell boot camp!
Catchup: Exhale yoga with one of my friends
Catchup: First spin class. Steph dragged me to Flywheel, mostly as punishment for that one yoga class I dragged her to last year. Definitely one of the toughest classes I've ever taken. It hurt, a lot. And ohhh the sweat. I'm still undecided on whether or not I like it, so of course that means she'll be dragging me to Soul Cycle very soon...
Catchup: Summer on the Pier class sponsored by Lole Women and Fitist! This class was the Nalini Method, taught by Rupa Mehta. Tough class, but not sure I liked it all that much.
