June Thousands Meetup!
Check you guys out! Less than two weeks in and we've racked up over 5000 minutes of exercise, and, um, WAY more crunches and pushups than I can count on my fingers and toes combined.
Props to Beth T, who is once again rocking out the leaderboard (how are those assisted pullups treating ya?)!
If you are in NYC, we are having our first [unofficial] meetup this Saturday for a group workout on the High Line! Meeting point is by the entrance on 14th St and 10th Ave. I'll be wearing my Social Workout shirt, so it'll be easy to find me. If you show up late, just come up to the park; we should be close by!

Catchup: An evening at Uplift Studios. Back to back. full length classes. Wowee. First was Summer Shapeup, taught by Shannon, which focused on a lot of core work and exercises that work the same exercises from kayaking and standup paddleboarding. It was tough, and I LOVED it. Next was Uplifting, taught by Chelsea, which was more of a circuit workout. Tough night!

Catchup: Tried out the local Abhyasa Yoga Center in my neighborhood. I fell asleep in that class, so not counting it as a workout. James and I did go swimming though, so counting it!

Catchup: First spin class. Steph dragged me to Flywheel, mostly as punishment for that one yoga class I dragged her to last year. Definitely one of the toughest classes I've ever taken. It hurt, a lot. And ohhh the sweat. I'm still undecided on whether or not I like it, so of course that means she'll be dragging me to Soul Cycle very soon...

Catchup: Summer on the Pier class sponsored by Lole Women and Fitist! This class was the Nalini Method, taught by Rupa Mehta. Tough class, but not sure I liked it all that much.
