We Made It!
Greetings, healthy people!
We made it! Twenty-one intrepid wellness pioneers braved 539 nutritious meals, 205 workouts and 2,006.5 hours of sleep, in just a mere 28 days. We may have been a small force, but we were a mighty force!
Special mention goes to Allyson G., who came within spitting distance of completing the challenge at 99%. Fantastic work, Allyson, and bravo to all of our finishers. Although the May challenge has ended, we hope to see you lining up for the June installment of the Social Workout 101, which starts TOMORROW. Oh, my! Did a Tabata workout today and got the heart rate up! Also did a thigh toning workout with the TIU girls. Needless to say, my @$$ hurt so bad for the next couple of days!

Today was (technically) a rest day. I spent the day in the mountains cleaning the area, pulling weeds, clearing debris, etc. We had to ride a boat in to get there, so my glute muscles were KILLING me the next day!

Did a Tabata workout (killer!) and worked on chest -- pushups, chest flies, etc. Felt good to get the sweat on!

Today was an easy day. I couldn't work up the energy for a major workout, so the husband and I took the dog for a two mile (slow) walk. Did a few jumping jacks and squats, but other than that... took it easy!
