Personal Goals
Hello Challengers!
You did it! After just two short weeks, all sixty-three of us stand at the finish line, with over 10,000 personal time minutes and 388 sober days under our belts. Fantastic! That's a lot of recovering!
Twenty blissfully recovered souls made it to 50% in this challenge, and fifteen of those made it to the important 75% mark, earning a $25 coupon for cool yoga wear from Hyde Yoga. We'll be sending off the coupons shortly, but in the meantime, high fives all around for your hard work!
Speaking of which, we're just beginning a new month, and fresh challenges are blooming. We hope you'll join one, or sign up for one of our nearly 700 personal goals. And, of course, you should continue to read TheFix.com for addiction and recovery news, straight up. All relevant links for browsing below.
It's been a pleasure and an honor to host this challenge. Thank you for sharing your voices, and keep us posted!

"Fall seven times, stand up eight."
Even though I wanted to ditch the workout, I'm glad I didn't. 25 minutes of kickboxing and 10 minutes of abs.

Calves were still burning, but so were my arms! Another badly needed rest day.
5 miles run yesterday, intervals on the treadmill. Felt tired :( But I count that as personal time! Grateful for a gym that is right next door to my office. Also grateful for the show New Girl. It cracks me up.
Second to last sewing class and my muslin is nearly done-- put on the waistband last night! still resting up and being healthy for Sunday's run. So far looks like it will be nice weather!

Thousands and a run. I can't wait to get to the gym to use the foam roller - I think that buying myself one will be my reward after my next race.
Dance yoga and art fills me w/joy, hope to always be doing what i luv!
does tired count as a mood?
This is mostly a rest week for me in preparation for Sunday's race, but got to the gym just too late to make 5:45 yoga, so ran/walked for 3 miles on the treadmill then did the next yoga class. Made a big pot of soup for (late) dinner. Mostly for lunches. Did it sans music/computer!
Plus, I finally did my taxes. What a relief!
