Let the record show that on three successive Saturdays I've substituted Zumba for Yoga. I have no regrets, but it makes me sad that my progress in the 21 Day challenge suffers. I really did mean to double up with a yoga class, but never quite got back around to it. Still, my groove is slowly coming back....

Several key points:
1.) I'm SO excited for (and slightly terrified by) The Dawn Patrol. I'm way into Big Challenges. Must dream up a few more....
2.) With 21 Day Challenge over, I started running again. This feels good.
3.) I can not keep track of how many glasses of water I drink. Was it four or seven? Who knows. Need better technology.
4.) Speaking of technology: There are SO many upgrades we've got in the works. Don't be afraid to speak up and tell us what your top request would be for Social Workout. You can comment here, or submit a suggetion via our Feedback form!
5.) Not drinking was easier this year than ever before.
6.) Count it!

Well, I'm either an idiot or an addict, or both. Looked outside after I entered that "0" for the day and the sun and warm temps called my name. So I just came back from a 40 walk, and although I'm super tired, my rumbly tummy feels better. Bring on February!

The Bring on the Week 5K challenge...27min 11 seconds. Like that I have challenged myself to get out of my 10-minute mile pace. Then I hopped on a treadmill that I didn't even use and started to clean it!! Can you say "in another world"? Had to laugh at myself (and then clean my real treadmill)!!

My final yoga practice of the 21 day challenge was kind of a gimme. Jason Crandall's "Evening Practice" for Newbies. This consisted of a single downward dog, and a lot of pleasant leg stretching aided by belt, done in candlelit comfort of my apartment around 10PM. Look, if Jason had asked, I was prepared to work up a sweat, but he didn't. It was an official challenge video, and, though it barely qualifies as a workout, it certainly counts as a yoga practice. In short, count it!

Driveway sprints. Walk downhill to the end of the driveway then sprint back up the hill as fast as able. Two times I attempted this with a 30 pound preschooler on my back! (not so pretty). A good way to do some "speed" work and enjoy the day.

Active recovery day today - little walk, lots of stretch, some abs. Not feeling too bad at all from yesterday's workout, but not pushing it today, either.
