Personal Goals
All day long people have been streaming across our virtual finish line, and the numbers are wonderful! More than 100 people zoomed past the 100% mark, and more than 600 did better than 50%. Congrats and Om Shanti to everyone, no matter where you landed on the leaderboard. After nearly 300,000 minutes of meditation, 40,000 vegetarian meals, and 30,000 yoga practices, we hope everyone is feeling very good, both in body and mind. Before we move on to the (drumroll, please) virtual awards ceremony, a few quick notes.
First, don't let your hard won healthy habits fade. If you found the challenge helpful, join us for another one. To help keep the momentum going, we've decided with Yoga Journal to make the 21 Day Yoga Challenge a monthly event on Social Workout! SO, if you're itching for a another shot, you've got your chance. You might also join us for The Dawn Patrol in February, or create your own challenge or set a personal goal. Just follow the links at bottom.
Second, if you still have updates to post for January, not to panic! You can log "catch up" posts at any time. Simply click through to the challenge page and choose the relevant date.
And now, an extra big round of applause for the teams and individuals that really shined in January. We had 128 teams participate, of varying sizes, from all over the world — from Scandinavia to the Middle East. Thirty-four of these teams cleared the 50% mark, but just one team made it past 100%. That team was "Yoga 4 U," a two person operation straight out of Carthage, Missouri. Bravo to Helen and Jinny, who will be receiving a special care package of Zevia healthy soda for their amazing efforts.
Meanwhile, on the individual leaderboard, we had 100 people go beyond 100%. All of these people are champions, of course. To choose one lucky Grand Prize winner, we were forced to draw at random. And our winner is...Marilyn H. of Gahanna, Ohio! Marilyn logged 154% of the challenge goals, and she'll be receiving a year's supply of Zevia. Congrats to Marilyn, and to the whole 100% club!
It's been a great honor to host the challenge, and thanks to every person, and to every team, for your spirit and willingness to share your progress and support each other. We are stronger when we stand together. And so, onward, yogis, to face new challenges!
Best,
