Run up to Coit Tower with the pup, then a quick circuit.
Back from the land of the Horrible Pulled Back Muscle! It was awful: There were evil devils and old crones with bent spines prodding my back with fiery embers. I'm not saying I was strong and never complained, but I never gave in. Now the evil spirits have subsided to a dull throb, and I was able to go for a gorgeous run in the Hudson River Park, with the sun reflecting everywhere off the snow and wet pavement. It was brighter than mid-July and the water was lapping at the concrete and the Statue of Liberty was still there. As were my legs, kinda. Count it!

Chest and back.
Moving slowly this morning, but broke into a run by the time Ramona and I had gotten to the Filbert Steps. Then a leisurely afternoon workout with my friend Jackson: squats, then supersets of deadlifts, situps, and pushups. (Try it. The deadlifts and situps knock out your core muscles, turning the pushups into a whole new experience.)
Just a quick outside circuit at Coit Tower this morning: 20 squats, decline pushups, and wall dips. My trainer said he'd yell at me if he saw me at the gym.
Back at it. Catching up after a cold. Bootcamp at Coit Tower, then short workout in the gym.
