Buffin made me do a lot of stuff with TRX bands. I kept hearing "Get on the T-Rex bands," because lately I'm obsessed with dinosaurs. Then there were a lot of single-legged squats on the Bosu. I did burpees followed immediately by mountain climbers, and I almost threw up. I asked Buffin what he would do if I threw up in my towel and handed it to him, and he said, "I take good work in all forms."

If only there was a "This American Life" podcast set to the beat of Katy Perry's "Firework" - then maybe during running intervals I wouldn't be thinking about how much I hate running intervals. OR, maybe I can GarageBand Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" to be 20 minutes long, because I run like a mofo to that song. That song makes me rage-y, and when I rage, I run.

My body was in serious need of rest today. Not only from working out, but I'm just so sleep-deprived! I just did 12 minutes of AM yoga to wake myself up, and 3 minutes of single-leg squats. 3 minutes was enough!! LOL Do you feel guilty when you don't work out?

watched my nephew play football. I thought the cheerleaders where more fun than the game. no exercise for me. weekends away from the routine are difficult.

did abs after my run, and will now have a homemade bagel for breakfast. I have to work today (boo) so i'll do the rest of the football workout during the day...

Didn't get all the football workout done during the day, but did go for a run in the morning. Breakfast was a homemade muffin and milk, and lunch was more chicken and rice.
I think next week i'll do more yoga - i really need to stretch more.

breakfast was 1/2 english muffin with spray butter,an apple and low fat cottage cheese sprinkled with cinnimon powder. walked one lap at the park( in the rain) and took to running(maybe more jogging) & walking for 2 more laps! felt good haven't ever really liked running but gona try! don't know if I'll get the burpee or sprints in today-will do my gym stuff done today! have a good one everybody! :)

So very sore after these last couple of days! Especially because I've been trying out new workouts. Did 20 of the Butt Bible, and another 10ish for yoga. Got only a few requirements of the Breakfast Club challenge, but that's okay! My body needed the break.

roadtrip Montreal to Mass. for the weekend. Went running around my brother's hood this morning. 3 miles, 33 min. approximately.

Still can't do 5 minutes of burpees, but did get a healthy breakfast out of the work catering today (why do they normally only have sugary pastries for breakfast? I had to ask for toast and fruit!) and lunch was fish and veggie tacos.

Got in another (non-football) work out today, with running up and down the stairs. Breakfast was the last of the baked oatmeal (thankfully) and lunch was wholewheat pasta & veggies.
I need to make it back to my yoga classes and start doing at home practices again!

Got up to three minutes of burpees! breakfast was more baked oatmeal, lunch was grilled chicken, veggies and beans (weird work catering :)) but dinner was not healthy: a big burger and fries...

Tried to do the football work out after work - it was hard! didn't make it through all the burpees and sprints, but my abs are definitely stronger than before!
