Shine. ~ Gautama Buddha For the entire month of March, join us in meditating for 10 minutes each day. If you have ever taken a yoga class, you know that stillness and surrender are the hardest poses of all. Whether or not you have a regular meditation practice, together we'lll support each other as we strive for clarity and peace of mind.  We'll be posting inspiration and guided meditations, and please share any of your favorite meditation tips or practices with us on the challenge wall. How It Works 1.) Hit the big blue "Join" button above, and you're in the challenge. 2.) Invite your friends! Click the Facebook "Send" button to rally some moral support. 3.) Meditate for ten minutes daily. Listen to your breath, repeat a mantra or listen to a guided meditation. There is no wrong way, only your way. 4.) Count it! For the entire month of February, join us in rising with the sun. It's the shortest month of the year, so that's just 28 days of virtue. Few things are better than being awake at dawn, rising with nature, and being in synch with the stars. And few things are harder than actually dragging yourself out of bed at dawn on a cold February morning. This is why we need each other. Big goals require big community support. What you do with that extra time is entirely up to you: Exercise, meditate, write in your journal, or soak in the tub. Just rise with the sun, and watch the universe and your fellow challengers shower you with gifts. How It Works 1.) Hit the big blue "Join" button above, and you're in the challenge. 2.) Invite your friends! Click the Facebook "Send" button to rally some moral support. 3.) Set your alarm! Check this site, or the weather app on your phone to find time of sunrise in your city. 4.) Count it! Each day, click "yes" if you woke at sunrise, and no if you failed valiantly. For extra credit, post the time you woke up in the text section and share a photo of the sunrise, or some other important aspect of your early morning.
