But if you're up for "harnessing the transformative powers of yoga and nature to bring a deeper level of connection between you and your partner," and want to do so far away from doubters who mock things like that, you've hit pay dirt. In addition to yoga, the itinerary includes hiking, meditation, and cleansing (again, couples' cleansing has to be your thing). The spa venue is, per usual, lovely. And the retreat leaders have more than 30 years of teaching experience each.

4.10.09 - Portland, OR. Guess what?? Today is the last day of my cleanse! 10 days of spicy lemonade and 11 pounds later, hello world. I feel so great, full of energy and focused. My skin is glowing, my tummy is (somewhat) flat, and I'm still not hungry.

a simple walk
wowser, I just caught on to the blog requirement...after reading a few, I might be tempted to go through with this. tho the master cleanse entry led me to google the thing & possibly give it a try. if I'm able to harm my body eating red velvet cake, tamales, 20g fat Costco quesadillas & such, what more damage could salt & lemonade do?

4.2.09 - Beaverton, OR. It's Master Cleanse time, baby. I've had enough of these weird, toxic, yucky feelings inside my body that sometimes only a cleanse can clear. 10 days of lemons, water, maple syrup and cayenne pepper is not ideal, but the feeling when you're done is worth it. Clean, accomplished, glowing, focused, lean.
