may 10 - low key exercise is still exercise
i'm feeling pretty low energy today and really just want to curl up on the couch and watch bad movies. so before i got started on that, i got in 30 min on the elliptical. not pushing really really hard or anything, just a cruise. but it was instructive to see that cruising on the elliptical for 30 min really could count as exercise - went 2+ miles, ~300 calories. not bad!
now to the couch.

may 8 - got into the groove
during my 30 minutes of intervals on the elliptical, i settled into a lovely groove and was just cruising along for the majority of the time. i even pushed it harder on the last two intervals to make sure i went a further distance than i did the last time i did 30 minutes of intervals.
next time - increase the time. progress!

may 7 - quick yoga/pilates
i'm meeting friends out for dinner tonight, so had to sneak in a quick workout after work. i did my standard yoga/pilates routine, which used to reallllly push my muscles, and found it easier than i used to.
going to do my physique 57 moves as well! hurrah for extra energy!

may 6 - could i actually enjoy ellipticalling?
did 30 minutes of hard intervals on the elliptical. although i did have my eye on the clock, i never felt that "ohmigod if i don't get off this thing right now i'm going to die," and the whole body sweat thing actually felt kind of ... dare i say it ... good?
